Receipt splitting · One bill at a time · No account
A Settle Up alternative
for bills that don't need a ledger.
Settle Up keeps a ledger of who owes whom across a group's expenses, and members record their payments in it. For one dinner, the real work is collecting the money. RightSplit reads the receipt on your iPhone, you tap who had each item, and each person gets a message with their amount and a link to pay you. With Pro+, a Live Activity on your Lock Screen shows who has paid, and you get a reminder a day later if someone hasn't.
How does RightSplit compare to Settle Up?

About RightSplit
Questions
FAQ
What is the best Settle Up alternative for one-off bills?
RightSplit is an iPhone alternative to Settle Up for when the bill in front of you is the whole transaction and doesn't belong in a running group ledger. The receipt is read on your iPhone, you tap who had each item, and each person gets their amount with a tap-to-pay link by Messages or WhatsApp. Equal splits with tip and your first scan are free; Pro+ is $3.99 a year or $7.99 once.
Does RightSplit track group balances over time?
Only on your own phone. RightSplit settles one bill at a time. With Pro+, a Space (for a trip, a shared flat, or split subscriptions) collects receipts and expenses, keeps each person's balance, and works out the fewest transfers to settle up, and recurring bills remind you to log them. There are no accounts and no sync, so the rest of the group can't add expenses or see the balance. If you want a running balance the whole group shares across months, Settle Up's ledger is the right fit.
Does RightSplit need an account like Settle Up?
No. In Settle Up, members add expenses in its app, and friends without the app can view the group balance in a browser through a shared link (checked 29 October 2026). With RightSplit only you need the app: you type the names of the people at the table, and each person gets their amount as a message by Messages or WhatsApp, or you copy it into any other app.
