Common Millrace questions
How much does Millrace cost?
Nothing for the whole game. All 64 levels, Freeplay, the Daily Challenge, Hint, coaching notes, and Game Center are free, with no ads and no subscription. The only purchases are optional: theme packs at $1.99 each or all sixteen paid themes in the Complete Collection for $5.99, undo bundles from $0.99, and a $1.99 tip that unlocks nothing.
What do the coaching notes do, and can I turn them off?
When a game ends, a short note on the game-over card can name one habit the app noticed across your recent games: keeping your biggest tile in a corner, not letting the board fill up, or keeping big tiles together in size order. A habit stops coming up once you have fixed it. Notes never appear during play, nothing leaves your device, and you can switch Coaching notes off in Settings.
Does Millrace work offline?
Yes. The whole game works offline. You need a connection only for the shop and Restore Purchases, for Game Center if you use it, and for links you open, such as the privacy policy.
Does Millrace collect any data about me?
No account is required, and the app has no tracking and no analytics, advertising, or third-party SDKs. Your progress, stats, and settings stay on your device. Purchases and Game Center, if you use them, go through Apple, and a support email you choose to send includes your app version, device model, iOS version, and locale. The privacy policy has the full detail.
Does it run on iPad and Mac, and does progress sync?
Millrace runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 18 or later. On iPad it works in every orientation. There is no Mac, Apple Watch, or Android version. Progress is stored on each device and does not sync; Game Center keeps your leaderboard entries and achievements if you sign in.
