A Rocket Money alternative
that doesn't want your bank login.

Rocket Money (formerly Truebill) reads your bank transactions to find your bills, which means connecting your bank through an aggregator like Plaid. AllPaid starts from the bills you type in. It reminds you at 9:00 before each due date, reminds you before a phone or insurance contract renews, and keeps your bills on your iPhone, where Face ID can lock them.

How does AllPaid compare to Rocket Money?

The two apps get your bills in different ways, and each way costs something.

How bills get in
AllPaid: You add each bill once, with a due date and how often it repeats; the amount is optional. Type a familiar name and AllPaid suggests the category and repeat.

Rocket Money: Connects to your bank via Plaid and reads your transactions to detect recurring charges.
Reminders and renewals
AllPaid: A reminder at 9:00 before each due date, with Mark paid and snooze right in the notification. Contracts get an end date, an auto-renew switch, the renewal amount, and a reminder before they end.

Rocket Money: Works from the recurring charges it finds in your transactions.
Cancelling and negotiating
AllPaid: Neither. It reminds you in time, and you deal with the provider yourself.

Rocket Money: A cancellation service on Premium, and bill negotiation for a share of what it saves you.
Privacy model
AllPaid: No account, and no ads, analytics, or third-party SDKs. Bills stay on your iPhone; optional iCloud Sync (Pro) uses your own private iCloud. App Lock asks for Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode. See the privacy breakdown.

Rocket Money: Account required; bank-transaction data flows through their servers.
Pricing
AllPaid: Free for 3 bills; Pro $1.99/mo, $12.99/yr, or $24.99 once, shareable with up to five family members.

Rocket Money: Freemium; Premium ranges roughly $4 to $12 a month, depending on tier.
What AllPaid leaves out
AllPaid is an iPhone app with no budgets, income tracking, export, or currency conversion. If you want those next to your bills, Rocket Money or a budgeting app covers more ground.

Who should pick AllPaid vs Rocket Money?

Pick AllPaid if…
  • You won't hand bank credentials to an aggregator
  • You already know your bills (rent, utilities, insurance, subscriptions) and want reminders you can count on
  • You want a heads-up before a phone, broadband, or insurance contract renews at a new price
  • You'd rather pay once for Pro than subscribe to a finance service
  • You live outside the US, Plaid coverage is patchy for your bank, and you want an app in your own language (AllPaid has 37)
Stick with Rocket Money if…
  • You want subscriptions detected automatically, including ones you forgot
  • You actively use their cancel-on-your-behalf service
  • You need budgeting and bill negotiation in one app
  • You've already linked accounts and the workflow fits

About AllPaid

Questions

FAQ

What is the best Rocket Money alternative for iPhone?
If the bank connection is why you're leaving Rocket Money, AllPaid fits. You add your bills, subscriptions, and contracts once, and AllPaid reminds you at 9:00 before each due date and before a contract ends. Everything stays on your iPhone unless you turn on iCloud Sync (Pro), which uses your own private iCloud. There is no account to create.
Does AllPaid require my bank login?
No. AllPaid does not use Plaid, Yodlee, or any other bank-aggregation service, and it never asks for bank credentials. You add each bill by hand. When you type a familiar name such as Netflix, AllPaid suggests the category and how often it repeats, and the amount is optional.
Does AllPaid help cancel subscriptions like Rocket Money does?
No. AllPaid has no cancellation or negotiation service. It shows what you pay and when, and for a contract with an end date it reminds you before the contract renews, so there is time to cancel or renegotiate with the provider yourself. Your transaction history stays with your bank.
Can AllPaid find subscriptions I forgot about?
No. AllPaid only knows the bills you enter, because it never reads your bank or your email. Finding forgotten charges in your transactions is what Rocket Money does well. One way to start is to go through one or two bank statements once, add every recurring charge to AllPaid, and let the reminders take it from there.
How much does AllPaid cost?
AllPaid is free for up to 3 bills, with reminders, contract end dates, the spending overview, all ten widgets, and App Lock. Pro adds unlimited bills, several reminders per bill, Spending Analytics, payment history, and iCloud Sync, as a subscription at $1.99/month or $12.99/year, or as a one-time purchase at $24.99. Every Pro plan can be shared with up to five family members through Family Sharing.
