App Store Connect,
without the browser.
If you ship indie iOS apps, you know the App Store Connect website: one language at a time from a dropdown, several tabs open, and no way to see what a save will change. AppMeta is a native Mac app for the App Store Connect API that puts every locale in one window and shows you the diff before you push.
How does AppMeta compare to App Store Connect on the web?
Localization workflow
AppMeta: The Localizations tab edits every field of a locale; the Fields tab flips it, so one field sits open in every language at once. It manages all 50 App Store Connect locale codes, with character counts that match Apple's.
ASC web: One language at a time from a dropdown, which gets tedious for apps in many languages.

Safety
AppMeta: Listing edits stay on your Mac until you push. Preview shows each changed field next to its live value, and you push one field, one locale, or all of them after a confirmation. Fields changed in App Store Connect since your last fetch are flagged.
ASC web: There is no built-in diff, and mistakes are easy to make on dense metadata pages.

Keywords
AppMeta: A Health Summary per locale flags wasted characters, duplicates, and words repeated across name, subtitle, and keywords. Optional live research scores difficulty from the top ten apps for a phrase, with the evidence listed.
ASC web: A 100-character box with a counter.

Credentials
AppMeta: Your API key sits in the Mac Keychain, and requests go straight from your Mac to Apple with no server in the middle.

What stays on the website
AppMeta: App Privacy details are a read-only summary with a link, and adding TestFlight testers, Game Center images, and leaderboard releases stay in App Store Connect.
ASC web: Everything, including team roles and agreements.

Who should pick AppMeta vs the ASC web UI?
Pick AppMeta if…
- You edit metadata across several apps or languages regularly
- You've made a mistake on the website and wished you had seen the diff first
- You also manage In-App Purchases, TestFlight notes, Game Center, and review replies and want them in one Mac app
- You want a one-time lifetime option for work you now do in the browser
Stick with ASC web if…
- You edit metadata once every few months, too rarely to justify a paid app
- Most of your work is in the parts AppMeta leaves to the website, such as App Privacy details or adding TestFlight testers
- You don't use a Mac
About AppMeta
Questions
FAQ
Is there a native Mac app for App Store Connect?
Yes. AppMeta is a native Mac app (macOS 14 or later) built on Apple's App Store Connect API. It edits your listing in every locale, In-App Purchases and subscriptions, TestFlight, Game Center, reviews, and submission, and shows a field-level diff against the live listing before you push. Your API key is stored in the Mac Keychain. AppMeta is a third-party tool and is not affiliated with Apple.
Why use AppMeta instead of the App Store Connect website?
For listings in several languages. AppMeta shows every locale in one window, or one field across every locale in the Fields tab, with character counts that match App Store Connect. Listing edits stay on your Mac until you push, and Preview lists each changed field next to its live value first. The Keywords tab flags wasted characters and words repeated across name, subtitle, and keywords, which the website doesn't do.
Does AppMeta store my App Store Connect credentials?
Your Issuer ID, Key ID, and .p8 key are stored in the Mac Keychain as items for that Mac only, not synced to iCloud. AppMeta signs short-lived tokens on your Mac, the .p8 never leaves it, and requests go straight to Apple. There is no AppMeta server.
Does AppMeta replace Fastlane?
No, the two work alongside each other. Fastlane automates release steps from the command line. AppMeta is a Mac app for the editing you do by hand, with a diff before each push. You can keep Fastlane in your pipeline and use AppMeta for hand edits.
